It's present day, and Veronica Martin, socialite and local D-list celebrity, gathers her closest friends for a birthday dinner. As the guests arrive, they find that grapes aren't the only thing fermenting in the bowels of Veronica's wine cellar. Her will reveals that her entire fortune is to be bequeathed to her beloved cat, Floofsy. As attendees fight over ownership of this now prized feline, suspicions rise over the true cause of Veronica's untimely demise.

The Zantelli family is known for their global toy brand, Zantelli Toys. While at a staff / family retreat in the Amalfi Coast, family patriarch Frank Zantelli goes missing. Soon after, his daughter Kelly, next-in-line to the Zantelli empire, is found dead. As attendees search for Frank's missing body, tensions surge around the lack of clear ownership for the future of Zantelli toys.
